How to find us
IBSEN Museum & Teater is centrally located at Henrik Ibsens gate 26, with a view of the Royal Palace.
- The National Theatre station is the nearest public transport hub by bus, train, metro and tram. From here it is about a 5-minute walk to the museum.
- Parking: Public street parking.
Practical information
- Accessibility: The museum has step-free access from street level, with entrance directly to the ticket counter and museum shop. There is an elevator in the building for access to the apartment and exhibition. In Ibsen's apartment, there is partial accessibility for wheelchairs, strollers can be placed in the hallway outside. In the exhibition there is good accessibility.
- Toilets and wardrobe: Toilets and self-service wardrobe with lockers downstairs. HC toilet on the ground floor.
- Food and drink: It is not allowed to bring food and drink into Ibsen's apartment.
- Dogs: Dogs are not allowed with the exception of guide dogs on duty.

We welcome groups, and we can accommodate groups from 15 people.

Price: NOK 140 per person. (min. 15 people) + guided tour fee kr. 550.- After closing time, there will be an opening fee of NOK. 2000.- until 8 pm, after 8 pm, 3000.-
